The speicfication of JIS G 3141 or EN 10130 and so on have been updated to the latest revisions.
Yogic offers the Cold Rolled sheet in a variety of sizes, grades and surface finishes to meet specific end-use requirements. Cold Rolled Sheet is manufactured from hot rolled coils by pickling to remove the surface oxide produced during the hot rolling stage, and cold reducing through a Cold Mill to the desired thickness.
Cold reducing steel produces an extremely low ductility product. It's usually processed further to develop desired end use characteristics such as formability, surface texture, flatness, etc. These further reprocessing steps include annealing and temper rolling for formability and surface texture, and in some cases, tension levelling for flatness
1.Sophisticated Surface and Dimensional Accuracy
A cold-rolling reduction rate of 40% or higher severely compromises the cohesiveness of a metal structure because it aligns the metal grains in the direction of rolling. However, recrystallization through the annealing processhardens the steel but eliminates the hard, brittle qualities resulting from the cold reduction process. Cold- rolled steel sheet that has undergone the annealing process has increased workability compared to cold-rolled sheet produced by the conventional method. Sheet and coil can be produced at various grades of workability by altering the annealing and cold-rolling conditions
2.Excellent Workability
Using the cold rolling process, cold-rolled steel plate undergoes annealing and temper-rolling to achieve a consistent, smooth surface with uniform thickness and flatness. Additionally, these treatments provide cold-rolled steel sheet and coil with superior mechanical properties. As a result, cold rolled sheet and coil have a high level of workability and are suitable for metallic coating, painting and other similar treatments.
3.Various Applications
Cold-rolled steel sheet and coil is essential to automotive and electrical appliance production as well as a wide range of other products requiring tons of highly workable steel of a consistent quality. They also serve as the base metal for tinplates, galvanized sheet and other coated steel products. Since they are used in such varied products, cold-rolled steel sheet must be available with a variety of properties. Increased demand for sophisticated and specialized products has prompted the production of specialized cold-rolled steel with properties like deep drawability and high tensile strength.
A cold-rolled steel sheet is produced by pickling a hot coil and rolling it uniformly at an appropriate temperature to a thinner thickness. Cold-rolled steel sheet is used in automobiles, home electrical appliances, construction, office equipment and as the material for coated steel sheet.
COMMERCIAL STEEL
This type of steel is used for general purposes.in particular, it is appropriate for manufacturing refrigerator doors, drums and furniture as well as for automobile roofs, fenders, hoods, quarters, oil pans and spring houses
STRUCTURAL STEEL
this structural steel does not need drawability but require strength
ENAMELING
This type of steel can be classifled into deep drawing, drawing and general types, depending on manufacturing methods and final usages. Generally, drawing and deep drawing steels are used for bathtubs, washers and household appliances while commercial sheets are mainly used for kitchenware, which does not require much drawability and gpes through more than three firings.
HIGH TENSILE STRENGTH STEEL
This type of steel can be divided into commercial, drawing, deep drawing steels, depending on manufacturing methods and end applications.in general, commercial steel is used for automobile seats, rail levers and parking brakes while drawing steel is used for center floors and brackets.Deep drawing steel is appropriate for fenders and hoods, and TRIP steel for car doors and bumpers.
Typical End Uses
Automotive Parts,Electrical Motors, Lighting Ballasts, Major Appliances, Racking/Shelving, Water Heaters, Pools (Above Ground/Inground), Commercial Doors, Garage Doors,Drums And Pails,Strapping - Seals,Tubular Goods.
